Cowl SaverTM reduces vibrations in the aircraft fuselage and prevents cracks in the bonnet and fire bulkhead. Conventional silicone rubber seals for baffles have one of the highest coefficients of friction of all known materials. This friction transfers engine vibrations to the bonnet and fire bulkhead, causing wear, material fatigue, cracks, chafing and vibrations in the aircraft fuselage.
