Description
Brake pad Cleveland 066-10600
Semi-metallic/organic (abrasive) brake pad
Metallic and semi-metallic brake pads
Two types of brake pads are available: semi-metallic/organic (abrasive) and metallic (adhesive). The part number of the brake assembly specified by the OEM determines which type of lining is to be used.
The semi-metallic linings consist of Kevlar fibres integrated into the material, which ensure maximum braking power and a long service life of the lining. The optimum operating temperature of the semi-metallic brake pads is 600-900 °F.
The main component of metallic brake pads is iron. In an adhesion system, a thin layer of brake pad material is transferred to the disc when it enters and adheres to it. The optimum operating temperature range of the metallic brake pads is 950-1200 °F.
The coverings can be used with all OEM or PMA discs.
